i’m using wordpress 2.0 and i don’t see the format dropdown menu. is there a plug-in i need to install?

there is no wordpress plugin for this, what you need to do is copy the files in this zip:
http://guide.zeprez.com/videos/tinymce.zip
to the following folder:
/wp-admin/js/tinymce/

i ended up putting the files in wp-includes/js/tinymce but it worked
